How to buy

The quickest way to understand how to buy from LitBuy is to ask the questions you would naturally ask at each stage and answer them one by one. That is how this guide works. Read it top to bottom once, and come back to individual answers when you need them.

Where do I start?

On our catalog. Browse litbuy-spreadsheet.site by category, by brand or via the best finds page, and open the product page of anything you like. The product page is where the real decision happens, so do not judge from the grid alone.

What should I look at on the product page?

All of the photos, not just the first. The opening image is often chosen to look good; the later ones usually reveal labels, stitching, soles, zips and the actual colours on offer. Then look at the options. Many listings offer several sizes, colours or versions, and some include variants that look similar but differ in material or detail. Work out which option you want and, ideally, which photo shows it.

How do I get the item onto LitBuy?

Click the LitBuy button on the product page. The listing opens on LitBuy, ready to order. If you came across an item somewhere other than our site, copy its link and paste it into the search bar on LitBuy; it will be converted into an orderable page in the same way.

How do I make sure I get the right size and colour?

Choose the option on LitBuy carefully and check it against the photos again. For clothing and shoes, compare the seller's size chart with measurements from something you already own rather than assuming your usual size. If two options could be confused, add a short note to the order explaining which one you mean, for example by referring to a specific photo.

What am I paying for at this point?

Only the item and its domestic delivery, meaning the cost of the seller sending it to LitBuy's warehouse. International shipping comes later as a separate payment. This is why you can keep adding items to the same haul over the next few days.

What happens after I pay?

LitBuy places the order with the seller, the seller ships it within China, and it arrives at LitBuy's warehouse. The order status changes along the way, so you can see whether an item has been bought, dispatched or received. Different sellers work at different speeds.

How do I know the item is right before it ships to me?

By checking the QC photos. Once your item reaches the warehouse, LitBuy uploads photos of it. Compare them closely with the listing: colour, shape, logos, tags, stitching, any measurements, and general condition. If something is not right, contact LitBuy straight away. Fixing a problem while the item is still in China is much easier than after it has been delivered.

When should I send my parcel?

When your haul is complete, meaning everything you want to send has arrived and passed your photo check. Select those items in your warehouse and submit them as a parcel, confirming your address and reviewing the packaging options.

How do I choose a shipping line?

LitBuy shows the lines available for your parcel and country. Compare them, and read each line's notes on what it accepts. Restrictions on batteries, liquids and certain goods are common. Apply any coupon that fits, check the final total and pay for international shipping.

How do I follow my parcel?

LitBuy gives you a tracking number once the parcel has been packed and handed to the carrier. Updates may pause during customs processing; that is normal. Keep your order and parcel details until it arrives and you have checked the contents.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from a LitBuy spreadsheet file? +

A shared file is a long list of links. This site gives each product its own page with photos and details, groups items by category and brand, and lets you open any listing on LitBuy with one click.

How often is the catalog updated? +

Listings are refreshed periodically, and each product page shows the price from our most recent check. Sellers can change their listings at any time, so LitBuy's page is always the current version.

What does the source marketplace tell me? +

Where the seller lists the item. It is useful context, but the ordering itself always goes through LitBuy.

Can I trust the photos on product pages? +

They are the seller's photos. They help you choose, but the warehouse photos LitBuy takes after your item arrives show what you will actually receive.
