This page describes the process only; prices and delivery times depend on your line, parcel and country, and LitBuy shows them for your order.
Steps
- Collect the haul. Wait until the items you want to send together are in the warehouse.
- Approve every item using the QC photo checklist.
- Select items for the parcel in your LitBuy account.
- Decide on packaging. Removing bulky boxes reduces volume; keeping them protects the item.
- Enter the address in your country's usual format, with phone number.
- Pick a line. Filter out lines that cannot carry your contents, then compare the rest on tracking and quote.
- Pay the shipping quote and keep the parcel number.
- Track the parcel and watch for messages from the delivering carrier.
- Handle customs if your country requires payment or documents on arrival.
Common mistakes
Shipping item by item. Each parcel is a separate international payment; combining usually keeps the count down.
Ignoring content rules. Batteries, liquids, powders and magnets are often restricted. One restricted item can limit the lines available for the whole parcel.
Incomplete addresses. Missing flat numbers or phone numbers are a common reason for delivery problems in Europe.
Assuming no import charges. Goods entering the EU from outside can be subject to import VAT and, depending on the goods and value, duties or handling fees. Your national customs authority publishes the rules.
