The order in five checkpoints
| Checkpoint | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| 1. Link | A single-product URL from Weidian, Taobao, Tmall or 1688 |
| 2. Listing on LitBuy | Photos, variant names, size chart, live price |
| 3. Variant | The exact size and colour, plus a note if names are ambiguous |
| 4. Item payment | Covers the product and delivery to the warehouse only |
| 5. Arrival | Status updates and warehouse photos in your account |
Mistakes that cause most problems
Copying a share link instead of the product URL. App share buttons create short links that may not contain the item number. Open the link in a browser and copy the final address.
Trusting translated option names. "Black/white" might mean a two-tone item or two separate options. Compare the photo attached to each option, and leave a short note to LitBuy if needed.
Reading the size letter instead of the measurements. Chinese sizing often runs small. Measure a garment you own lying flat and compare centimetres, not letters.
Missing 1688 quantity rules. Wholesale listings on 1688 can set minimum quantities or price tiers. Read those fields before adding to the cart.
Expecting one payment to cover everything. International shipping is a separate, later payment once items are in the warehouse.
Which marketplace is which
- Weidian: small independent shops; product URLs include itemID.
- Taobao / Tmall: large consumer marketplace; product URLs include id.
- 1688: Alibaba wholesale; product URLs look like /offer/number.html.
LitBuy handles all three the same way from your side: one account, one cart, one warehouse.
After paying
Watch the order status. Sellers ship at different speeds, so items in the same haul rarely arrive on the same day. When they do arrive, use the QC photo checklist.
